Back in January, Lanc\u00f4me announced that it was collaborating on a makeup collection with Alber Elbaz and now it is finally launched. The collection focuses solely on eyes, which was Elbaz\u2019s decision. \u201cI spend my time backstage at the Lanvin shows, and when I come out at the end, all I see are people\u2019s eyes,\u201d Elbaz told. His inspiration was the shape of the iconic Hypnose mascara containers which reminded him of a woman\u2019s figure. <\/span><\/div>\n

There aren\u2019t any new colors or products in this collection since what Lanvin’s artistic director did was a restyle in Lanc\u00f4me’s four leading mascaras and classic Lanc\u00f4me palettes and mascaras. He created four different designs\u2013Star, Doll, Drama, and Definicils\u2013which correspond to the brand\u2019s popular mascara names. Elbaz has added a personal touch to the collection by launching fake eyelashes that come in an illustrated box. <\/div>\n

The limited edition collection will hit shelves on June 15th and prices will range from \u20ac28 (Hypn\u00f4se eyeshadow) to \u20ac55 (Hypn\u00f4se Palette). Alber Elbaz created especially for his collaboration with Lanc\u00f4me a film that will be on the web on June 3rd, prior to the collection\u2019s launch and here is the teaser:<\/span><\/div>\n
