Following the steps of Yohji Yamamoto, Raf Simons, Rick Owens and, more recently, Pharrell Williams, Mary Katrantzou collaborates with Adidas and the result is breath taking. The Greek designer famous for her digital prints brings sportswear to a whole new level.<\/div>\n

Her main source of inspiration were the track shoes worn by medal winners in the 1970s and 1980s. \u201cMary is a true innovator in her use of color and print as well as her experimentation with embroidery and other applications,\u201d said Dirk Schoenberger, Adidas Sport Style Creative Director. \u201cShe brings all of these strengths into the world of sport-inspired style and applies her unique perspective to sneakers and apparel, creating a great fusion of high fashion, street wear and technology.\u201d <\/div>\n
